	Belgium Chapter Mission Statement

GLOBE Belgium's aim is simple: to ensure Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender employees individually, and as a group, are treated the same as all other employees. Objectives: Ø To assist in attracting, utilising and retaining talented individuals Ø To protect Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender employees from discrimination through advocating fair employment policies Ø To provide an opportunity for GLOBE members to network, communicate and provide mutual support Ø Create a working environment free of harassment and homophobic behavior Ø To be a positive and visible group expressing Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender concerns and sensitivities in the workplace Ø To ensure a secure and equitable benefit program for all employees, which recognises domestic partners and non-traditional families Ø To support diversity awareness training and education Ø To advocate and value diversity in the workforce
