Ford GLOBE is an organization of salaried, hourly or retired employees of Ford Motor Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and onsite contractors, who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered (glbt) and allies. Ford GLOBE is one of several Employee Resource Groups at Ford Motor Company.

We are open to membership for Hourly, Salaried, and Agency employees worldwide. We have active chapters in the U.S. (Southeast Michigan; Tampa, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; Irving, Texas; Louisville, Kentucky), United Kingdom, Germany, and Belgium. To become a member, please follow the instructions below. If you are interested in starting a local chapter in your area, please contact us.

How to apply for membership

Enrolling from Work

Send an email note from your Ford email account to Rob Matras (rmatras) and include the chapter you wish to join. If you wish to receive email using your home email address, put that in your request. Onsite Contractors at Ford must enroll from work.

Enrolling from Home

Send an email note from your personal email account to MemberService@FordGLOBE.org and include the chapter you wish to join. Include your name and let us know your work location or if you are a retiree.

Confidentiality

Membership lists are confidential and will be made known only to those GLOBE officers with an operational need to know. We use distribution lists for email, which hide the identity of the individual members.

Bylaws

Ford GLOBE members who would like to receive a copy of the current version of the approved Ford GLOBE bylaws may request a copy. In addition to the public MVO statement, the bylaws cover organizational structure, election procedures, finances, and other pertinent organizational information. To request a copy, please send email to MemberService@FordGLOBE.org.
