Two weeks of exhausting and exhilarating days were spent displaying GLOBE UK's stand in all of the Essex plants. Trafford, Warley, and Dagenham plants were visited by the GLOBE Officers during the company's 'October Diversity Work life Month', a company intitive to focus on our Employee Resource Groups and our external partners. Trevor, GLOBE's International Officer said, "it was a great journey, we have not moved a display around the plants before, but it really brought the group together and it was an excellent way to forge relationships with our Ford Plants".
Displaying GLOBE gave us the opportunity to contribute by working as part of a team in an inclusive environment where LGBT issues were openly discussed with employees. The team displayed Ford values to Diversity and the importance to raise the awareness LGBT at Ford Plants. GLOBE has been focused on their shared purpose and act in the best interest of the company. The team showed commitment and support to Ford motor company initive to diversity and this support will improve our business and improve our employees awarness and in doing so help build towards sustainable profitability.
